รีวิวประสบการณ์ท่องเที่ยวประเทศสิงคโปร์ เป็นประเทศเพื่อนบ้านที่อยู่ทางตอนใต้ของประเทศไทย ซึ่งใช้เวลาในการเดินทางด้วยเครื่องบิน โดยบินตรงจากเกาะสมุยไปยังสิงคโปร์ ใช้เวลาเพียง 1 ชั่วโมง 50 นาทีเท่านั่น ครั้งนี้ผมใช้บริการสายการบินบางกอกแอร์เวย์ (Bangkok Airways) Asia Boutique Airline.

Back with the review of EP.02

A review of the travel experience in Singapore, a neighboring country located south of Thailand. The journey was by airplane, flying directly from Koh Samui to Singapore. The flight took only 1 hour and 50 minutes. This time, I used Bangkok Airways, an Asia Boutique Airline.

Prior to travel, I prepared the following documents:

A passport with at least 6 months' validity
A return ticket from Singapore (either returning to the original country or another country). Without a return ticket, entry to the country may be denied.
Accommodation reservation documents

For the review, I will focus on the places I personally experienced and include photographs I took to share in this review.

Important information: GRAB service fares vary depending on the time of day:

From 06:01 AM to 6:00 PM, the normal price applies.
From 6:01 PM to 12:00 AM, prices increase by 25% from the original.
From 12:01 AM to 6:00 AM, prices increase by 50% from the original.

It is recommended to plan your trips to various spots in advance, and transportation options such as trains or buses can be used.

การเดินทางครั้งนี้ เริ่มเดินทาง เมื่อวันที่ 29 กรกฎาคม และสิ้นสุดในวันที่ 3 สิงหาคม [ 5 วัน 4 คืน ]
และยังคง Concept เดิมคือ ตั๋วสวัสดิการพนักงานที่ไม่ยืนยันที่นั่ง [Stand by Ticket]. ทุกครั้งที่มีการเดินทางด้วยตั๋วไม่ยืนยันที่นั่ง สำหรับผมแล้วเป็นความท้าทายมากๆในแต่ละครั้งในการเดินทาง ไม่ใช่แค่เพียงความตื่นเต้นแต่ยังรวมถึงการฝึกตนเองให้มีการวางแผนในการรับมือ หากไม่สามารถเดินทางในเที่ยวบินที่กำหนดไว้ล่วงหน้า

This trip began on July 29 and ended on August 3 [5 days, 4 nights]. It still follows the original concept of using unconfirmed employee welfare tickets [Standby Ticket]. Every time I travel with an unconfirmed ticket, it’s a significant challenge for me. It’s not just about the excitement but also about training myself to plan and prepare for contingencies if I can’t board the pre-scheduled flight.

สนามบิน Singapore Changi Airport เป็นสนามบินหลักของประเทศสิงคโปร์ ซึงมีความสวยงามและทันสมัยในเทคโนโลยี ถือว่าเป็นสนามบินใหญ่ต้นๆของทวีปเอเซีย และจุดเด่นของสนามบินนี้ก็คือ มีการแสดงกระแสน้ำวนที่อยู่ในสนามบิน มีชื่อว่า เดอะเรนวอร์เท็กซ์ที่จูเวิลชางงีแอร์พอร์ต

Singapore Changi Airport is the main airport of Singapore, known for its beauty and advanced technology. It is considered one of the largest airports in Asia. A highlight of this airport is the display of a water vortex located within the airport, called The Rain Vortex at Jewel Changi Airport.

The Rain Vortex มีการแสดงกระแสน้ำวน 2 ครั้งต่อวัน เป็นเวลา 20:00 // 21:00

หลังจากที่ได้ชมการแสดงกระแสน้ำวน ก็ถึงเวลาที่ต้องเดินทางออกจากสนามบิน โดยผมใช้บริการรถไฟใต้ดินในการเดินทางเข้าเมือง สถานีรถไฟใต้ดินจะตั้งอยู่ที่ Terminal 2 แนะนำให้เดินทางตามป้าย Train To City สามารถซื้อตั๋วที่ตู้กดตั๋วหรือเคาเตอร์ได้

สำหรับคืนแรกผมจองโรงแรมไว้ที่ V Hotel Bencoolen สามารถลงที่สถานี Bencoolen แล้วเดินออกทางประตู A เมื่อเดินออกมาจากสถานีทางเข้าโรงแรมจะอยู่ทางด้านขวามือ

The Rain Vortex features a water vortex display twice a day at 20:00 and 21:00.

After watching the water vortex display, it was time to leave the airport. I used the MRT (subway) to travel into the city. The MRT station is located at Terminal 2. It’s recommended to follow the signs for "Train to City." Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machine or counter.

For the first night, I booked a hotel at V Hotel Bencoolen. You can alight at Bencoolen Station and exit through Exit A. Upon exiting the station, the hotel entrance will be on your right.

ทำการเช็คอินและเก็บกระเป๋าในห้องพักเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว ก็ถึงเวลาอาหารมื้อดึกของวันแรกของการเดินทาง ตรงข้ามโรงแรมจะมีร้านอาหารที่มีชื่อว่า Republic Food คล้ายๆกับอาหาร Food court บ้านเราที่เปิดอยู่ในห้างต่างๆ

After checking in and settling my luggage in the room, it was time for a late-night meal on the first day of the trip. Opposite the hotel, there is a restaurant called Republic Food, similar to the food courts found in shopping malls in Thailand.

The first night ended with enjoying a late-night meal and resting to recharge energy for tomorrow.

Fort Canning Park เป็นเนินเขาที่โดดเด่น สูงประมาณ 48 เมตร (157 ฟุต) ซึงเป็นเนินเขาและสวนสำหรับคนในพื้นที่ ที่สามารถเข้ามาเดินเล่นและเรียนรู้ประวัติศาสตร์ของประเทศสิงคโปร์ที่มีการหลบภัยสงครามในอดีต ยังคงมีร่องรอยประวัติศาสตร์ที่ยังคงทิ้งไว้ให้คนรุ่นหลังได้มาเรียบรู้ รวมถึงต้นไม้ที่มีอายุมากกว่า 20 ปี และดอกไม้นานาชนิด

Sightseeing for Day 2

On the second day in Singapore, after checking out, I headed to Boss Hotel to check in early and leave my luggage at the lobby, as room check-in was available after 2:00 PM local time.

For the first sightseeing spot of the second day, I chose to explore nature at Fort Canning Park, a prominent hill standing approximately 48 meters (157 feet) tall. This hill and garden serve as a recreational space for locals, where they can stroll and learn about Singapore’s history, including its past as a wartime shelter. Historical traces remain for future generations to study, along with trees over 20 years old and a variety of flowers.

Highlight: If you visit Fort Canning Park for a stroll, I highly recommend stopping by the Fort Canning Tree Tunnel. It’s a stunning spot for taking photos.

ก่อนถึงทางเข้า Fort Canning Park จะมีอาคารสีรุ่งอยู่ทางด้านซ้ามือของทางเข้า เป็นอาคารเก่าแก่ที่ได้ทำการรีโนเวทและทาสีใหม่ ทั้งตัวอาคารและหน้าต่าง ทำให้ตัวอาคารดูมีสีสันและสดใส

Before reaching the entrance to Fort Canning Park, there is a colorful building on the left side of the entrance. This historic building has been renovated and repainted, including both the structure and its windows, giving it a vibrant and lively appearance.

หลังจากที่ได้เดินเล่นที่ Fort Canning Park ในครึ่งวันเช้าเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว ถึงเวลาแวะทานข้าวเที่ยง โดยมีห้างใกล้ๆ ที่มีชื่อว่า Funan Mall ใช้เวลาในการเดินทางเท้า 15 นาที ที่ห้างจะมี Food Court อยู่ชั้น G [Ground] ซึ่งมีอาหารหลากหลายให้เลือก

After spending the morning strolling through Fort Canning Park, it was time for lunch. There’s a nearby mall called Funan Mall, which is a 15-minute walk away. The mall has a Food Court on the Ground (G) floor, offering a wide variety of food options to choose from.

The next destination is the National Gallery Singapore, also known as the National Art Gallery. It is a public institution and national museum dedicated to art and culture, located in the Civic District of Singapore. It manages the world’s largest public collection of Singaporean and regional art, particularly from Southeast Asia, with over 9,000 pieces in its collection.

National Gallery Singapore มีทั้งหมด 4 ชั้น แต่ละชั้นจะจัดหมวดหมูของศิลปะที่แตกต่างกันออกไป
ผมใช้เวลาอยู่ที่นี้ประมาณ 2 ชั่วโมง ได้ดูศิลปะที่ยากจะพบเห็นในประเทศไทย เพราะบางผลงานถูกห้ามแสดงผลงานในประเทศของตนเอง ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในประวัติศาสตร์

หลังจากที่แดดเริ่มอ่อนลง ผมก็มุ่งหน้าไปยังสถาที่ ที่มาสิงคโปร์แล้วพลาดไม่ได้ นั่นก็คือ Merlion Park
จาก National Gallery Singapore ไปยัง Merlion เดินทางเท้าใช้เวลาประมาณ 25 นาที

Merlion Park

เป็นแลนด์มาร์คที่มีชื่อเสียงของสิงคโปร์และเป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่สำคัญ ตั้งอยู่ที่ One Fullerton ประเทศสิงคโปร์ ใกล้กับย่านศูนย์กลางธุรกิจ เมอร์ไลออนเป็นสัตว์ในตำนานที่มีหัวสิงโตและลำตัวเป็นปลา ซึ่งถูกนำมาใช้กันอย่างแพร่หลายเป็นมาสคอตและเป็นตัวตนประจำชาติของสิงคโปร์

The National Gallery Singapore has a total of four floors, each dedicated to different categories of art. I spent about two hours here, exploring artwork that is rarely seen in Thailand, as some pieces are prohibited from being displayed in their home countries due to their connection to historical events.

As the sun began to soften in the afternoon, I headed to a must-visit spot in Singapore: Merlion Park. The walk from the National Gallery Singapore to Merlion Park takes about 25 minutes.

Merlion Park

This is a famous landmark and a key tourist attraction in Singapore, located at One Fullerton, near the Central Business District. The Merlion, a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish, is widely used as a mascot and a national symbol of Singapore.

เป็นอีกหนึ่งแลนมาร์คที่สร้างความประทับใจมากๆอีกจุดหนึ่ง ถึงแม้ในวันที่ผมไปจะไม่มีการแสดงน้ำพุก็ตาม ด้วยแสงสีจากอาคารต่างๆรอบๆ ทำให้รู้สึกที่นี้สวยงามมากๆอีกจุดหนึ่ง

จบวันที่สอง เดินทางเท้ากันเหนื่อยมากๆ ครั้งนี้จึงใช้บริการรถไฟฟ้ากลับไปยังที่พัก

It’s another landmark that left a strong impression, even though there was no fountain show on the day I visited. The colorful lights from the surrounding buildings made this place feel incredibly beautiful and one of the standout spots.

The second day ended with a lot of walking, which was quite exhausting. This time, I took the MRT back to my accommodation.

Sightseeing for Day 3

In the morning, I took time to rest fully to recharge energy for the evening’s exploration. The destination we’re heading to is called Singapore Flyer.

It held the title of the world’s tallest Ferris wheel since it began operating in 2008.

And the final day, Day 5, was the day to return home.

This trip was about visiting various landmark spots that are popular among tourists. It was an experience that made me fall in love with this city—a clean city with excellent management and a high level of safety for travelers. Whether traveling with family or friends, you can feel at ease.
