โรงแรมนี้ชื่อ The Charm Resort ตั้งอยู่ใกล้ๆ หาดป่าตอง เป็นโรงแรมระดับ 4 ดาวเลยนะ ชาวต่างชาติมาพักเยอะมาก ตัวโรงแรมอยู่ห่างจากหาดป่าตองเพียงแค่ไม่กี่ก้าว เดินออกมาจากซอยของโรงแรมไม่ถึง 5 นาทีก็ถึงหาดแล้ว

This hotel is The Charm Resort. It’s a 4-stars hotel located near Patong Beach. Many foreigners, from family travel groups to solo travelers stay here. The hotel is only a few steps from Patong Beach. You just walk a little bit and Voilà! A beach!!

แถมยังไม่ไกลจากแหล่งปาร์ตี้อย่างถนนบางลาด้วย ขับรถมอเตอร์ไซต์แค่ประมาณ 10 นาทีก็ถึงแล้ว แต่สำหรับใครที่กลัวจะเสียงดัง ไม่ต้องห่วงเลย ถึงโรงแรมจะอยู่ในโซนป่าตองซึ่งเป็นแหล่งปาร์ตี้สังสรรค์ แต่บริเวณโรงแรมคือเงียบสงบมาก ทั้งช่วงกลางวันและกลางคืนเลย

It’s also close to the most famous party street in Patong, Bangla Walking Street. You can get there by motorcycle in less than 10 minutes. ฺBut if you’re worried about the noise, you don’t have to worry about that at all. Even though the hotel is in Patong, known to be a party spot, it is very quiet where the hotel is.

This hotel doesn't have wide surrounding grounds. It’s a long stretch of multiple buildings. However, the hotel has almost everything you need, from fitness, swimming pools, a restaurant, bars, to a sauna. You can just bring your clothes and laptop.

ตรงนี้จะเป็นโซนล็อบบี้สำหรับต้อนรับแขก โซนนี้จะเป็นพื้นที่เปิดโล่งแบบเพดานสูง ให้ความรู้สึกโปร่งสบายมากๆ แถมยังมีโซฟายาวสบายๆ ไว้ให้เรานั่งด้วย ตอนเช็คอินจะมีพนักงานคอยต้อนรับ แถมยังเสิร์ฟเครื่องดื่ม Welcome drink สดชื่นๆ ให้เราดื่มด้วยน้า พนักงานต้อนรับน่ารักมากๆ พูดจาดีและคอยให้คำแนะนำดีมากๆ ค่ะ

The first thing you will see when walking into the hotel is this open-air, high-ceiling lobby with long sofas. The staff will be waiting for you there. They have welcome drinks for you when you arrive. The staffs are very nice and helpful.

บริเวณล็อบบี้จะมีบาร์เล็กๆ อยู่ด้านข้างด้วย เผื่อใครอยากมานั่งดื่ม แต่เราไปนั่งทำงาน 555 แล้วตรงด้านหน้าโรงแรมก็มีสระน้ำเล็กๆ อยู่รอบๆ แต่เล่นไม่ได้นะ เอาไว้ตกแต่งเฉยๆ ถ่ายรูปออกมาสวยดีค่ะ แถมตอนที่เราไปเป็นช่วงคริสมาสต์ ทางโรงแรมก็ได้มีการนำต้นคริสมาสต์และของตกแต่งต่างๆ มาตั้งไว้ด้วย น่ารักมากเลย

Next to the lobby is a small bar where you can drink and relax, but I worked there 😂 In front of the hotel, there’s a small shallow pool but it’s just for decoration. You can’t swim in there. Maybe dip your toes yes, It was during Christmas time when I stayed there, so they have a giant Christmas tree in front of the hotel.

Next to the lobby and bar is the hotel’s restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. There’re many seats for guests, both indoor and outdoor. But if you sit outside, be careful of birds. When you go get your food, you should have someone watching over the table. Otherwise, the birds will come and steal your food.

ร้านอาหารของโรงแรมเป็นอาหารนานาชาติที่ให้บริการทั้งอาหารเช้า (บุปเฟ่ต์) อาหารกลางวัน และอาหารเย็น มีทั้งอาหารไทย อาหารตะวันตก อาหารท้องถิ่น และเครื่องดื่มต่างๆ เราชอบบุฟดฟ่ต์อาหารเช้าของโรงแรมมาก มีของให้เลือกทานเยอะแยะไปหมดเลย ทั้งเมนูไข่ต่างๆ อาหารไทย ข้าวผัด ผัดหมี่ ข้าวต้ม ขนมปัง สลัด นม ซีเรียล ชา กาแฟ วาฟเฟิล ผลไม้ ต้องอยู่หลายๆ วันถึงจะทานครบ วันเดียวท้องแตกชัวร์ โรงแรมจะเปลี่ยนเมนูบ้างในแต่ละวัน ฉะนั้นไม่ต้องห่วงว่าถ้าอยู่นานแล้วจะได้กินแต่อะไรเดิมๆ แต่เราอยู่นานมากจนเบื่ออาหารจืดๆ ไปเลยอ่ะ เพราะลูกค้าโรงแรมส่วนใหญ่เป็นชาวต่างชาติ อาหารก็จะไม่ได้จัดจ้านมาก

The restaurant offers international cuisine, from Thai, western, to local. They serve breakfast (buffet), lunch, and dinner. I really enjoyed the hotel breakfast buffet. There are all kinds of things to choose from; different kinds of egg dishes, Thai food, fried rice, stir-fried noodles, boiled rice soup, bread, salad, milk, cereal, tea, coffee, waffles, fruits, etc. You need to stay there for many days to try all the food, or you can eat a little bit of everything in one day. The hotel changes some menus each day. So you don't have to worry that you will only get to eat the same things if you stay for a long time. But we stayed for so long that we got tired of not-spicy food (we’re Thai 🤣) because most of the hotel’s customers are foreigners so the food will not be very spicy.

Now, let's take a look at the room we stayed in.

จริงๆ ห้องที่เราจองไปเป็นห้อง Standard Deluxe สำหรับ 2 คน ห้องสวยมากค่ะ สะอาด กว้าง ไม่อึดอัด แล้วก็มีของใช้ให้ครบเลย ทั้งไดรฟ์เป่าผม ตู้เย็นขนาดใหญ่ ตู้เซฟ ร่ม ไฟฉาย ผ้าเช็ดตัว เสื้อคลุม เครื่องอาบน้ำ แถมยังมีเคาท์เตอร์บาร์ด้วย ส่วนเตียงก็ใหญ่มาก แถมยังมีโซฟายาวมาให้ด้วย

At first, we booked a Standard Deluxe room for 2 people. The room is very beautiful, clean, and spacious. There's almost everything you need, such as a hairdryer, a large refrigerator, a safe, umbrellas, flashlight, towels, robes, and toiletries. There is also a modern counter bar. The bed is very big, and there is a long sofa as well.

The mirror is very large, very satisfying for ladies. However, the lights in the room are very dim. I can't put on makeup with those lights. Of course, it's romantic for couples. But I went with friends 😂

ส่วนห้องน้ำก็กว้างดีค่ะ ไม่อึดอัดเลย ห้องนี้เป็นฝักบัวเรนชาวเวอร์คู้ฝักบัวธรรมดาค่ะ อ่างล่างหน้าใหญ่สะใจมาก ซักผ้าได้เลย 555

The bathroom is big. This room has a rain shower. The basin is very large. You can wash your clothes there 🤣

ส่วนระเบียงก็กว้างดีค่ะ มีเก้าอี้กะโต๊ะให้นั่งด้วย แล้วก็มีราวตากผ้าให้ด้วย ตอนนั้นเราอยู่ห้องชั้น 3 เลยไม่ค่อยเห็นวิวอะไรมากเพราะมีโรงแรมข้างๆ แต่ก็มองออกไปเห็นทะเลยนิดนึงนะ โรงแรมข้างๆ เป็นแนวอาหรับ ถ่ายรูปออกมาก็แก๋ไปอีกแบบ

The balcony is wide. There are chairs and tables to sit on as well. And there is also clothes drying rack. At that time, we were on the 3rd floor so we didn't see much of the view because there was another hotel beside us. But if we looked out to the sea, we could see a bit of sea view. The hotel next door is Arabian style. It's nice to snap some sassy photos, like this one 😆

You might think this room is beautiful already, right? But there is more!!

คือตอนที่เราไปพักอ่ะ ประตูดิจิตอลห้องเรามีปัญหาหลายครั้งมาก โรงแรมเลยเปลี่ยนห้องให้เรา และด้วยความที่ช่วงนั้นลูกค้าเยอะมาก เราเลยได้อัปเกรดห้องฟรีเป็นห้อง Deluxe ที่ใหญ่ขึ้นพร้อมอ่างอาบน้ำ คือดีมากอ่ะ แต่ห้องก็ไม่ได้ต่างจากห้องเก่ามากนะ แค่ห้องน้ำใหญ่กว่า แล้วก็มีอ่างอาบน้ำเพิ่มเข้ามา แต่จะบอกว่าไม่ได้แช่เลย มัวแต่เที่ยว แอบเสียดาย

We stayed in that room for only 2 nights then the digital door lock in our room didn’t work properly and they had to fix it. So the hotel changed the room for us. We got lucky because there were many customers at that time, so we got a free upgrade to a bigger Deluxe room with a bathtub, which is very good. The room is not very different from the first one, just a bigger bathroom with a bathtub. But we didn't get to use the tub at all because we were so busy traveling and partying. Such a waste right?

We didn't have a sofa in this room anymore because we asked to split the beds. So we got 1 queen bed and 1 small bed instead.

จริงๆ โรงแรมนี้มีห้องหลายแบบมาก ทั้งแบบที่เราพักแต่ติดสระว่ายน้ำซึ่งอยู่ชั้นล่าง (สระว่ายน้ำข้างล่างสำหรับห้อง Pool Access เท่านั้น) ห้องแบบ 2 ชั้น ห้องสำหรับครอบครัว แล้วก็อีกเยอะมาก ใครสนใจห้องแบบอื่นก็เข้าไปดูได้ที่เว็บไซต์ของโรงแรมได้เลยน้า

They have deluxe rooms with pool access which are on the ground floor (the swimming pool is only for the rooms with pool access only), bi-level suites, family rooms. and a lot more. Now, let's go to the hotel's rooftop, which is considered a highlight of the hotel

อย่างที่บอกไป โรงแรมนี้เป็นตึกยาวๆ ไม่ได้มีพื้นที่โดยรอบเยอะมาก ทางโรงแรมเลยใช้พื้นที่ภายในตึกของโรงแรมอย่างคุ้มค่า โดยใช้ได้บนของตึกนึงเป็นพื้นที่ส่วนกลางที่มีทั้งฟิตเนส สระว่ายน้ำไร้ขอบ และบาร์ริมสระ

As I said, this hotel is a long stretch of multiple buildings. There isn't a lot of surrounding area. The hotel, therefore, makes good use of the space inside the buildings. They transformed the top of one building into a common area with fitness, an infinity pool, and a pool bar.

ที่นี่มาดูไฮท์ไลต์เด็ดของโรงแรมดีกว่า ซึ่งก็คือสระว่ายน้ำและบาร์ริมสระนั่นเอง!

And this is a real highlight of the hotel, the infinity pool, and the pool bar!

สระว่ายน้ำนี้เป็นสระว่ายน้ำส่วนกลางค่ะ ลูกค้าทุกคนใช้ได้ จะมานอนอาบแดด อ่านหนังสือตอนกลางวัน หรือมานั่งทำงานชิวๆ แบบเราก็ได้นะ แต่บอกเลยว่าต้องใส่แว่นกันแดดทำงาน เพราะแสงจ้ามาก

This pool is a communal pool. All customers can relax and enjoy the view here. You can sunbathe and read during the day, or sit and work as I did. But let me tell you. You will need sunglasses to work because the light is very bright.

ส่วนตอนเย็น ถ้าพักที่นี่คือห้ามพลาด ต้องมาดูพระอาทิตย์ตกตอนเย็นให้ได้นะ บรรยากาศดีมากและวิวก็สวยมาก ยิ่งถ้าถ่ายรูปในสระน้ำนะ เลิศมากค่ะ วิวสวยทุกมุมเลย มองออกไปเห็นทะเลด้วย

One thing you can’t miss when staying at this hotel is watching the sunset in the evening. Everything looks great from here. The view is magical and beautiful from every angle. You can get a nice shot in the pool for Instagram.
